I had some trouble sitting down last night, but I felt much better by this morning. I do have a few nice bruises left as a reminder of why hand rails are cool though. I'll definitely be making better use of those in the future!

Kaiten and some slippery steps
After we returned from Sunshine City last night, the four of us had some time to kill, so we decided to grab some drinks and hang out in the hotel room for a bit. We spent some time looking through our Tokyo guide books, and decided on Kaiten Sushi for dinner. I mean, it had been almost two days since we last ate Sushi! It was definitely time. We all trooped down to the lobby, but when we got there we saw that it was pouring down rain. We waited for a few minutes for the weather to subside, and eventually made a run for it. To get to the restaurant, we had to walk around the block, cut through Shinjuku station, and then go down a huge set of granite steps. Because of all of the rain, the steps were ridiculously slippery, and I'm a clumsy girl. I was actually walking down the steps thinking "I'm going to fall on my ass!", and sure enough, when I had about 10
steps left to go, I fell on my ass. Let me tell you, granite hurts! Luckily I wasn't broken or bleeding at all, just sore and soaking wet. So I tied my sweatshirt around my waist, so that it didn't look quite so much like I peed my pants, and we continued on to dinner. The sushi was so good that it pretty much made me forget about my fall. This Kaiten place was a little pricier than the last one that we went to, but it was also nicer. The fish was just so good! I'm in sushi heaven.
