We both have a million and one things to get done before we go, so we've been running around like crazy people, and I have a to do list that is never out of my hands. I keep checking things off of it, but I also keep adding things, so it never seems to get any shorter.
Last night I was in a pretty good place, packing-wise, and then disaster str
uck. I had the last load of laundry in the dryer, and the three loads that I'd just finished were all spread out on the bed. I was folding things, and sorting them into clothes to be packed, and clothes to be put away. That's when my adorable dog Duke decided it would be a good idea to jump up on the bed and PEE all over everything!!! Ack! I could have killed him. So all of the laundry needed to be redone, the bed had to be stripped and all of that needed to get washed as well. And I had to drop my comforter off to be dry cleaned this morning. I guess he's not too happy about us going away, huh? So, it looks like I'll be doing all of my packing tonight! Then only one more day of work to get through, and it's time!!!!
